'Tainted'

Statement from Sen. Harry Reid:
"It is clear that anyone Governor Blagojevich appoints to the Senate will fairly or unfairly be tainted by questions of impropriety. A different process to select a new Senator must be put in place – and that process should not involve Governor Blagojevich."
And who can disagree? I mean, if anybody's an expert on being "tainted by questions of impropriety" . . .

I agree. I suggest a three-person panel consisting of Robert S. McCain, Rush Limbaugh and Sarah Palin.

  2. Wow.
Give it up to the Dems for standing on principle and calling this scumbag out.
    Not like,oh....Ted Stevens.
Remember how Palin would not ask him to step down?
In the least I can say that Democrats cannot be accused of circling the wagons for one of their own criminal politicians.
Maybe something Republicans might want to take up...
    Just sayin....
