Ann, bluntly

Did you hear the McCain campaign assigned Sarah Palin to a former CBS employee who called Ann Coulter "crazy"? Payback is hell, they say:
After showing nearly superhuman restraint throughout this campaign, which was lost the night McCain won the California primary, I am now liberated to announce that all I care about is hunting down and punishing every Republican who voted for McCain in the primaries. I have a list and am prepared to produce the names of every person who told me he was voting for McCain to the proper authorities.
Don't blame me, I voted for Bob Barr!

  1. All the blather is useless.
The real story of this election is the Republican party eating itself. The factions have split. The Conservative party finds itself without the patronage of the Republican party. And Conservatism on its own is nothing but a fringe movement.
Conservatives risk getting left behind because of the provincial politics that seem to define their ideology and their attiudes.
Republicans, I believe, are beginning to distance themselves from Conservatives because they see which way the wind is blowing.Which is to say that it is forward looking, the antithesis of Conservative ideology hellbent on preserving a fantasy past of a traditional America like you see in Norman Rockwell paintings.
Conservatives lose credibility when they line up with Palin at McCains expense. Most Americans see McCain infinitely more qualified and competent than Palin, which makes some of us think you guys are just plain nuts....

  2. I voted for Fred Thompson in the primary. His lack of unnatural lust for the job made him a natural.

  3. Robert, Coulter is crazy. Or at least she's too self-absorbed with self-promotion. She adds little to conservative media.
