'The race-baiting progressive playbook'

Taking as his text an Associated Press propaganda piece, Jeff Goldstein conducts a semantics seminar on the "Red Queen" method of liberal demagoguery.

UPDATE: Patterico:
There is literally no argument you can make against this man that will not be countered by cries of racism.
Are you listening, McCain advisors?
I’m told that McCain advisors are reluctant to argue Democratic responsibility for the mortgage crisis, because they might be accused of being racists.
Wake up, McCain advisors. You are already getting accused of racism for making other perfectly legitimate points. Why on God’s green Earth would you hold back on one of the best arguments you can make because someone might play the race card?
Do you people even want to win?
A very good question, but I think it's being asked too late. It should have been asked before Maverick proposed replacing SEC Chairman Chris Cox with Andrew Cuomo.

  1. John Batchelor is asking some questions and getting answers. The fact no one in the MSM is, is well, prescient.

  2. Goldstein's tortured logic was a waste of time.
Brevity is the soul of wit and the key to getting you rpoint across. Jeff's lon-winded diatribe is an example of why no one should bother giving this Ayers thing further thought. Stanley Kurtz maintains that there is a THERE there, and his empirical proof is that they were in the same room at least 6 times. Really now...
Of course, this will all go over well with the Klan segment of the GOP, which I imagine is considerably large. And of course the conspiracy theory nuts are going to have a field day.
But Palin, secessionist babe that she is, inadvertently sullies herself when she sinks to conservative talk-show host status. It's amazing to watch the breathtaking rapidity of the Conservative meltdown. If the chickens are coming home to roost, they are finding themselves one big chicken without a head. It's sad really....
The best part is that Palin is making Bush look like a scholar! Inconceivable!
    Send in the clowns....
PS- Is it me, or does Sarah Palin remind you of Peggy Hill?
